I'm really sorry I've been missing these past few days! I recently quit smoking and I'm having a pretty hard time with it. With work and the kids on top of my mood being in the pits, I haven't felt like doing anything besides watching tv, drinking black coffee, and sleeping. It's been so tough but I know that this is someting I need to do for myself and for my family. I am really trying to be healthy in 09. I've been promising Matt for a long time that I would stop and I've finally done it! I'm so proud of myself so far. I'm about 4 days in and I'm still going strong! Thank you so much for your understanding! I really miss you all and I promise I will be back soon! I'm hoping to do some crafting tonight! If I don't, I will at least take some pics of the scrapbook pages I made last week so I can share SOMETHING! I will see you soon!

Hello Everyone! Sorry I've been MIA the last couple of days. Me and Matt have been spending some QT together after work and I'm usually so tired that I'll go to bed at like 9pm. I have to work again today but if I get off early I will be sure to make something to share with you all!

So apparently blogger didn't go down like I thought it would so I took my time tonight and revamped the site. Do you like it? I sure hope so! I figured out how to make a 3 column page so I can add more stuff! Hooray for stuff! I'm also currently in the process of starting a sister blog that willhost all the videos I make so please be patient. This should be done either tonight or tomorrow night! I will post the link to this site under "My Links" to the left of the screen. Well I've had a long day and I have an even longer weekend ahead of me. BLAH! Hi everyone! So I took the time today to make a new video for you all! I also went to Betty's to do some scrapbooking! What a fun time I had. She got in the CUTEST stamps yesterday. The brand is called Magnolia and they are from Sweden and so darn cute!

Today I'm giving you all a sneak peak of the Stamp-a-stack I am doing next month! Ok everyone although I don't think I can fix the part of my computer where my SD disk goes, my dad has given me a cool contraption that will allow me to put my SD disk into a flash drive! SO COOL! So that means we have pictures! Today's card is using a technique I like to call creating your own background. If I can figure out how to upload a video I will make a video on this and share with everyone! I can't stay long because I have to run Chloe to the Dr's to get shots, poor baby! I will have the Project Worksheets after I have come back!

I had a great question from Pam (Hi Pam!) about our little incident yesterday. Kyan, whose two, wrote on our linoleum floor in the kitchen. He was drawing circles. He also wrote on the kitchen table, 2 kitchen chairs and his booster seat. I have no hope of getting that out. My mom looked up what things remove permanent marker and some of the things were a magic eraser, toothpaste mixed with baking soda, baking soda mixed with water, dry erase marker, and a pencil eraser. So far I've tried the dry erase marker and pencil eraser and they helped lighten the drawings by not totally remove them. Since I have the day off today I plan to try the baking soda, er powder, I'm not sure which I'll have to look it up. Needless to say that I was exhausted after Matt got home yesterday and quickly got the kids to bed and went to sleep! LOL. Welp I hope you all stick around for my posts later today hopefully! So today was quite the day. My son Kyan went stir crazy today. He spilled his Sprite all over the floor, fell and hurt himself numerous times, and WROTE ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR IN PERMANENT MARKER! And now I find out that my computer won't read the photos off my SD disk! Woe is me! I have a feeling that either him or Colton tried to 'fix' it. Probably the same thing that happened to my iPod. The joy of having boys. I have a feeling I'm in for much more of this in the future. The worst part is that I have 3 cards to share with everyone. I'll have to wait until tomorrow when I can borrow my dad's laptop or get this one fixed. At least my whole computer didn't get 'fixed.' Lord love them!

How it Works

At the time a recruit signs up, she fills out her Starter Kit form and other paperwork as usual, but must also write "Three Easy Payments option" at the top of each form. (Please note that the Three Easy Payments option is not available through the Online Independent Demonstrator Application. Recruits who wish to take advantage of the offer must submit their paperwork by mail to Demonstrator Support.)

The recruit must also complete a separate Three Easy Payments form, available for download from the Customer and Demonstrator Web Sites.

Using the credit card information provided on her Three Easy Payments form, Stampin' Up! charges the initial Starter Kit payment (see the table below for a breakdown of payments) on the day paperwork is processed and sends the recruit her the Starter Kit.

On or around the 15th day of the two months following the month Stampin' Up! received her paperwork, Stampin' Up! will charge the subsequent payments using the same credit card information provided on the Three Easy Payments form, and the Starter Kit will be paid in full. Stampin' Up! will only accept the same credit card for all three payments, as provided on the Three Easy Payments form. Checks or money orders will not be accepted.

Details and Restrictions

To qualify for the Three Easy Payments option on the discounted Sale-A-Bration Starter Kit price of $169, Starter Kit paperwork and an accompanying Three Easy Payments form must be received by Stampin' Up! (not postmarked) on or before March 31, 2009. Paperwork received after this time will be processed for the regular Starter Kit price of $199.

After Sale-A-Bration, to qualify for the Three Easy Payments option on the regular Starter Kit price of $199, Starter Kit paperwork and an accompanying Three Easy Payments form must be received by Stampin' Up! Any remaining funds will then be released to the demonstrator.

The Three Easy Payments option is not available through the Online Independent Demonstrator Application. Recruits who wish to take advantage of the offer must submit their paperwork by mail to Demonstrator Support.

Recruits participating in a regional seminar recruiting promotion are not eligible for the Three Easy Payments option.

Hello everyone! Man do I feel refreshed! I was so tired yesterday that I went to bed at 8:30! LOL. Today's card is a really simply and fast card. I used the Textures Plates #4 for the cute paisley background on the whisper white card stock and then used the Stampin' Pastels to color one of the paisleys. I also used the Lots of Tags Sizzlit to cut out Pretty in Pink Card Stock and runned on Easter Wishes with the Chit Chat Run-Ons. This card took me all of 15 minutes to make! Hello everyone! Today I have two cards to share with you! Hooray! But first here are the PWs for yesterday's Pretty Petals card (DOC or PDF).

Our first card today was one that I did for TLC212 Challenge on Splitcoast. The technique was ribbon frame. Isn't it cute? There are so many ways you can use this and I can't wait to have time to play around! I am hoping to begin integrating videos on these different techniques that I've been learning so that I can share them with you! For now, here are the PWs (DOC or PDF).

Our next card is the actual card I made for blogging today.This cute little Easter bunny is from the Eight Great Greetings Stamp set from the new Occasions Mini Catalog. Hello everyone! I'm so sorry I didn't post yesterday, I decided to have a nice relaxing day with my family. Me and the boys dyed easter eggs. How much fun! They did a wonderful job and it was so nice to spend some quality time with them. I feel like I don't see them enough now that I'm back to work. I also went to a consignment sale yesterday and got little Chlobug some new dresses for spring time! Well enough personal news, on to today's card! These cards are teeny tiny, only 3"x3! They are perfect as little thank you cards or maybe even to put into a set. I tell you what, I'm really starting to like coloring with markers! I'm so sorry I didn't get to post this morning. I had my post all ready and then, wouldn't yanno it, my internet went out. GRR! Stupid wireless router, I tell ya. OK on to today's card! I made this card for yesterday's Color Challenge on SCS using Black, Rose Red, and Always Artichoke. I actually made the stripes on the card base myself. What a day I had. I felt like I was in a stupor all day, it was really weird. I'm SO EXCITED now though! I finished the basis for the class I'm going to be holding! YAY! So here's the scoop, it is a Top Note Die Chipboard Mini Album. I have not yet set a price but it will definitely be reasonable. When you order the class through the mail, or take it with me, you will receive all the precut materials, this way you don't have to have a bigshot to play even though is an awesome tool to add to yur collection. The kit will also come with embellishments (buttons and brads). The stamp sets I used will NOT be included but if you want me to prestamp the pieces for you I will be more than happy to do so. It's about 10:50pm so I'm going to be going to bed and I won't have a chance to finish or share my special project with you until maybe tomorrow. I think I finally figured out my pictures and how to make them look great. Tell me what you think about these pics please! These cards are for a Demo challenge I did on SCS. The rules were that we had to use 3 In Colors cardstock, no neutrals, we could use nothing but ink (no markers, colored pencils, aqua painters etc.) and we could use not punches or brads or buttons. IT WAS SO HARD! lol It really puts into perspective how the beginning stamper feels! So here is what I made for them. I'm calling this set "A Little Somethin' Bundle."

Hi everyone! I'm still getting used to daylight savings time and I overslept this morning! Thank goodness it's my day off! I hate Losing an hour of sleep but I can't wait until Fall so I can get it back! I don't know what I would do if I traveled across the coast and had to deal with jet lag LOL. Well enough of my ranting and onto today's card. I think this card has a touch of elegance to it. That Parisian Breeze DSP is so pretty! Seeing as how I woke up late, I will be posting the project worksheet for this in a separate post after I have taken the kids to daycare. I also will have a new and original project for you a bit later that I will be offering as a class. I will be setting a date for this today but there will be more information later so stay tuned!

Hello everyone, I decided to show you these super simple thank you cards I've made. I believe I'll send these in orders or recruit packets but I haven't yet decided. Ok so today is so easy! Just stamp flowers in multiple colors, then cut colored card stock into strips of 4 1/4" by 1 1/4" an adhere after wrapping and tying around ribbon. Stamp sentiment at bottom and add a button! Hello everyone! I'm back again! I just wanted to show you what I did! I've been struggling to find a way to make my pictures look more professional and I believe I'm on the right track! Today I made a light box out of a card board box, tissue paper and white poster board and here's the finished result. I found the tutorial HERE if you would like to make your own. It was super easy and not even that time consuming I'm glad to say. Please let me know what you think about it! I'd love to hear your comments to see if it was worth the work.

Now for today's card. I made this card and ended up giving to my son's teacher. She is such a caring person and has been a wonderful friend to me. This is the first card where I have decorated the inside as well and I think it turned out fabulous!

I colored the "A little something for you" on the inside with the Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink markers. I colord and stamped the swirls in the corner first and then cleaned my stamp and then colored and stamped my sentiment. Voila! On to today's card! Before we get started I wanted to let you know about a new change I made. Today's card is one I made for SCS's Color Combination Challenge using Chocolate Chip, Pink Passion, and Kiwi Kiss. To view the complete Project Worksheet please choose the appropriate link (DOC or PDF). I used the paper piercing tool and the template to create the design on the corners. Although it is hard to see, I paper pierced the swirl designs on the Pink Passion paper. I also used the white gel pen to highlight the flower. I hope you all enjoy this card! Ok so I ended up staying home yesterday and it was a good thing I did! I took Colton to the doctor and he has strept throat! YIKES! Poor little fella doesn't feel well at all. The real kicker is that he's allergic to pennacilin (he breaks out in hives) so they prescribed something else instead of just giving him a shot in the office. The medicine burned his little throat! The only upside to today was that I got a bit of stamping done! YAY! And also he has to stay home tomorrow so that means I'll be here all day too. Colton is such a love. He has a great time stamping with Mommy! I absolutely love it. So let's get to today's card!

Todays card is a smaller card but just as cute as ever! I love this stamp set, Pun Fun (115054). I inked the stamp in Staz-On Jet Black Ink (101406) and then took a baby wipe and wiped the ink off the sentiment under the hippo. I stamped this cute feller on Watercolor Paper (105019) and, using Blender Pens (102845) and the Bashful Blue Stampin' Write Marker (105111) began coloring his body. His little bow and balloon are colored in this manner with the So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker (105114), his toes with Close to Cocoa Stampin' Write Marker (100072) and his shadow with Creamy Caramel (100078). The card is 4" x 4" in Bashful Blue Cardstock (105120) with a 3 3/4" x 2 1/2" piece of Delicate Dots DSP (SAB 114674). The "Congratulations" sentiment is from the Congrats (SAB 113770) set. Also from the SAB Mini I used the So Saffron Grosgrain Ribbon from the Ribbon Bundle (114618). Lastly I punched out Certainly Celery Cardstock (105125) with the Scallop Circle Punch (109043) and added doodle dots with White Gel Pen (105021). I thought this card would be perfect for the birth of a baby boy. In fact, my good friend Shaira is having a little boy in about 10 weeks and I'm not going to be able to go to her baby shower. So maybe I'll put together a little something for her. I'm thinking a chipboard album and a Basket made with the Big Shot! Stay tuned!

Good Morning everyone! So it's early here in NC and I'm waiting to find out if the kids have school or not today. A lot of the snow melted yesterday but the temp dropped to 15 degrees last night and refroze everything that had melted. That means lots of black ice! YIKES! In any case, Colton has been running a fever of around 100 degrees since late Sunday morning and he's been complaining that it hurts when he swallows so I need to get him in to see the doctor. All of this has to do with whether I to work this morning, if I go in a bit later if the kids have a delay, or if I stay home and make my time up on Sunday. I guess we will see! I'm kind of hoping to stay home so I can do some more stamping! Ha, for shame Lauren. So on to our card for the day!

Ok everyone, this card is on Whisper White Card Stock (100730) cut at 8 1/2"x 5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4". The stamp sets I used were Botanical Blooms (113812) from the SAB Mini and Cute and Curly from the Curly Label Punch Bundle (112966). I stamped the outline of the flowers and the stamp inside the Curly Label Punch in Chocolate Chip Ink (100908) and the insides of the flowers are in Kiwi Kiss Ink (111835) and Baja Breeze Ink (111833). I also used Kiwi Kiss Card Stock (111353) and Baja Breeze Card Stock (111352). The ribbon is Chocolate Chip 1" Double-Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon (111849). The 'All My Love' sentiment is from the Chit Chat Chocolate Chip Rub-Ons (111804).

What an exciting new day. We have many things to cover today! Since I'm stuck inside today I will be setting up all my posts for this week PLUS doing some more stamping to add to the blog for next week. If you're wondering why I'm stuck inside today it's because we got some SNOW last night! HOORAY! I just love the snow. We got about 5" here in Asheboro, NC...now if you live elsewhere you're probably thinking "only 5" and you're stuck inside?" Crazy I know. Coming from New York I remember going to school in waist deep snow but down here 5" is enough to shut down the state of North Carolina.

So on to the good stuff. Here is a card I made last night. Can you tell I finally got my BIG order in? TeeHee. On this card I used the Pink Pirouette Card stock (111351) cut at 8 1/2"x5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/2". I used the Scallop Edge Punch (112091) along the bottom of the front flap. The designer paper is from the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper (112041) and the ribbon is the Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon (109067). The stamp set I used was the Level II Hostess set A Little Somethin' (113415). It is stamped on Whisper White Card stock (100730) cut at 2"x 2". I will be adding a video on how I made this cute glittery image. I stamped the image using Riding Hood Red Classic Stampin' Pad (111836) and sponged with Rose Red ink (101778) using Sponge Daubers (102892). Next I stamped the entire piece of cardstock with a VersaMark pad (102283) **Don't worry about getting your Versamark pad dirty, when I did this none of the ink from the image transferred to the pad** Next apply Heat and Stick Powder (100625) and heat with your Heat Tool (100005) until it turns to a liquid. Apply Dazzlig Diamonds (102023) while the powder is still warm and liquified. Reheat with heat tool to set glitter. Voila! How pretty is that?! Next just matte in Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, and Kiwi Kiss Card Stock (In Color Card Stock - 111347). Finally the "XOXOXO" Sentiment is from Chit Chat Rub-Ons in Whisper White (111804).

Something Extra

Hello happy people! It's me again. I decided to make a bit of a layout for the paper strips on my scrapbook page for you so that you can see the dimensions. The ribbon was simply placed between the two horizontal strips of paper. I used a Fiskars border punch to get the scalloped edge on my striped paper. So here it is, feel free to click on the layout for a real size layout that's printable!

Next I would like to unveil my punch cards!!! HOORAY! I have two designs I have made and I would really appreciate your input as to which design is better. What?! A scrapbook page today? Yes it is true. I gained a little bit of inspiration today while I was reading through Scrabooks Etc. They had an article about fusing digital scrapbooking with traditional paper scrapbook. So here we are!! I made this FABULOUS collage layout using Picasa 3. Picasa 3 is designed by and available from Google and is absolutley free! Ladies, ever tired of seeing boogies on the kid's faces in pictures? I know I am!! With this program, photoshopping is a snap. You can make photos in black and white, sepia, soft focus and much, much more. I used to Collage tool and just added which pictures I wanted to use then I printed it out as a 5" x 7". Voila! If you would like to download this program please go here.

Ok so let's talk products. The paper and embellishments are by Little Yellow Bicycle. The large glittery snowflakes are chipboard that I added Doodlebug glitter to. The white ribbon is just some that I picked up at Walmart for about $1.50. Now I have a wonderful 8x8 scrapbook page. Here is a close up. Hope you all enjoy and get inspired!

Well hello happy people! Just wanted to pop over and give you all an update. Very soon I will be an official Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! YIPPY! I just wanted to share with you all some of the exciting things I will be implimenting as I start this new venture! My goals for this blog is to provide to everyone a happy and fun place to share tips, techniques, and ideas that not only appeal to seasoned stampers but also to those of you who are just getting started. I will soon be investing in a camcorder so that I can share with you all the wonderful tutorials I am planning. Also, I want to start a reward system for you all. I am still ironing out the details but the general idea is that you will receive a punch each time you spend a certain amount of money. My First Tutorial

Hello happy people! Finally! It is here. My first tutorial! Soon, whenever my W-2's get here and I get back taxes, I will invest in a camcorder and make videos! I'm so excited. Let's get started! This is a super simple note card today. This is using Priceless #115052 on page 121 of the new catalog. You will also need your Whisper White Cardstock #100730 and Stampin' Write Markers pg 152 in Elegant Eggplant, Rose Red, Barely Banana, and Mellow Moss. Let's get started!

Using the Swirl images from Priceless, you are going to use the markers to color these images in multiple colors. Tip: If you use baby wipes to clean your stamps, make sure all lint is removed from stamp before starting. Failure to do so will result in the lint accumulating on your marker tips!

Using your Elegant Eggplant marker, you will first want to color the bold swirls. Tip: When coloring small areas, use the fine tip of your marker to ensure that no unwanted color gets on the other design elements of the stamp.

Now, using your Barely Banana marker, color the dotted swirls. Color flower elements in Rose Red, and finally color whisps (as I like to call them) in Mellow Moss. Be sure to huff hot breath on your stamp to remoisten the ink and you're ready to stamp your image!

Here is your final product! Please click on any images you see for a larger view.

For the simple note card, I stamped these multicolored swirls onto Whisper White Card stock. Then I stamped the butterflies in Rose Red and Elegant Eggplant, cut them out, and added Dimensionals.

Well there we are stampers! A simple and sweet card! Hope you all enjoyed it, have a Terrific Tuesday!

Hello happy people! What a busy week it's been! My dad came home from the hospital as I mentioned, but that same day Colton (4) got really sick. His teacher called me from school and said he hadn't eaten any of his lunch which is HIGHLY unusual. So I went and got him, by this time he had a temperature of 101 degrees and he was saying his legs and back hurt. So I took him to urgent care and they tested him for a kidney infection and for Strep but both tests came back negative. Just as a precaution the Dr. prescribed some Amoxicillin. Then, last night he says, "Mommy, I'm hot and itchy." And then I noticed it...HIVES! I am no amateur when it comes to hives because Kyan (2) gets them all the time. So it turns out Colton may be allergic to penicillin. JUST PEACHY! Lol. Anyways, on to today's card!

This card was done for SplitCoast's Weekly Card Sketch Challenge. The card stock is Purely Pomegranate and Basic Black and the designer paper is Basic Gray's line Bittersweet. I stamped on Whisper White card stock in Purely Pomegranate from the stamp sets 'Priceless' and 'Warm Words.' Yanno, I'm so excited these stamp sets were featured in the new catalog because I absolutely love them! Hello happy people! What a wonderful (and EARLY) morning it is. It's about ten till 4am and I've been up since 3. I got up to feed Chloe this morning and wasn't sleepy enough to go back to bed. So while I'm waiting for the kids to wake up I decided to post a little something for you. I have made a couple cards using the Bittersweet line by Basic Gray and Purely Pomegranate by SU! The stamp sets I used were Priceless and Warm Words from the current SU! catalog. The chipboard photo corners are by Technique Tuesday.

So here we go...I made these cards with both Valentine's Day and thanks to my Grandma in mind (I'll be sending her one of these very soon). My Grandma Judy was such a big help while dad was in the hospital and we all wanted to show our appreciation. Dad has since been released from the hospital - YIPEE - and now how wound care appointments once a week and has oxygen at home. He had a nasty case of cellulitis and flesh eating disease. NOT GOOD! But thanks to all the people who have been praying for him, he is on his way to a full recovery. Praise God.

I am just now going to upload the card I made for SCS's Sketch Challenge which any of you who know about or participate in this know that the challenge is done on Wednesdays. I know, I know. Tsk, tsk on me. Anywho, I made a large Valentine's card using My Mind's Eye patterned paper, Purely Pomegranite and Whisper White Cardstock and Close to Cocoa ink pad by SU!, and Making Memories brads. The shapes were cut out using the 'Home Accents' cartridge for my Cricut Expressions.

The striped layer was simply crumpled by hand then opened and flattened somewhat. Then I used to Close to Cocoa to ink the raised parts. I continued to ink the edges of the Whisper White and the polkadot paper with the Close to Cocoa. Finally I added some glitter to the 'Love' cutout and the border of the accent piece. On the left is a picture of the sketch.

I decided on making a Valentine's day card because on Thursday Colton's class was making Valentines for the troops. Colton was very excited to have his Mommy come to his class and bring all her stamping stuff. The kids all had such a blast using the rubber stamps and paper punches. It was a wonderful day. So on that note, I will leave you all some pics of Colton's class and I hope you all have a Splendid Saturday!!

Hello happy people! So here we go, my first post with an upload. HOORAY! These are the cards that the boys 'made' for their Papa. My dad was admitted to the ICU on the 8th due to having a high fever and red splotches around a wound that he got from falling over the coffee table. Come to find out that small wound got a staph infection in it, which then began a domino effect. Because my dad has a lung disease and is susceptible infections, the staph infection caused a bad strain of pneumonia which then release toxins into his blood stream and he went into septic shock. It was a very scary time but luckily he had a lot of people praying for him and was blessed with some wonderful doctors and nurses and is on his way to recovery.

So while in the hospital I decided to have the boys make him 'Get Well' cards. For anyone who knows my dad, there is nothing on earth that my dad loves more than his grandbabies.

This one on the right was from Kyan, aka KyKy, and he drew a very pretty picture on the inside. The designer paper is by Basic Grey and the cardstock, stamps, ribbon, and ink are Stampin Up!

The card on the left was from Colton. The patterned paper is also by Basic Grey and the cardstock is SU! The ribbon and brads are by Making Memories, circle 'Hugs to You' stamp is by Hero Arts.
Papa was really thrilled with the cards along with a video that the boys made for him. It made his day! Well stampers, until next time have a terrific Thursday!
